Collect Memories, Not Things

We never realize the value of something in our life, until it becomes a memory.

Savour The Moments

No one takes his possessions with him when he dies. I have yet to see a moving van following the corpse to a funeral. At the end of the day, the only thing we can take with us is our memories. So, I would rather spend my days doing things that will leave me happy memories than collecting possessions.

Little Things Are Not So Little.

I have realized that my best memories come from life’s simplest things. The day I had a heartfelt conversation with my husband under the full harvest moon, the day my daughter Saanvi was born, the day she learned to walk, when she spoke her first word and when the first time she called me “Mumma”. I’m going to cherish all these memories for the rest of my life.

Make memories in people’s hearts because your memories will be all that’s left of you when you’re gone.

So instead of dreaming about some magical rose garden over the horizon,  why not enjoy the roses that are blooming outside our windows today. let’s savour these simple things. These wonderful memories will add more value to your life than any of the materialistic stuff, that we keep on collecting throughout our life.

“I’d rather have roses on my  table than diamonds on my neck.”
